Originally from North Carolina and a proud graduate of North Carolina State University, Sarah Stelmok made Fredericksburg City her home more than 20 years ago. 

She quickly fell in love with the area’s rich history, small-town charm, and the people she now calls neighbors. After a career in special education in NC, Sarah transitioned into real estate when she made the move to Virginia — a move that allowed her to continue doing what she loves most: helping people reach life-changing goals through knowledge, trust, and hard work.

A respected REALTOR® and real estate educator, Sarah trains real estate licensees locally, across the state, and country, focusing on professionalism, ethics, and client advocacy. Her leadership and integrity have been recognized by the local real estate association with the FAAR REALTOR® Code of Ethics Award, Manager of the Year Award, Melanie Thompson Award, Educator of the Year Award, and the Good Neighbor Award. 

As the Owner and Broker of Nest Realty Fredericksburg, Sarah Stelmok built Nest around one simple philosophy: real estate is about people, not numbers. Her passion for creating a community-based brokerage comes from years of serving Fredericksburg’s families, schools, and neighborhoods. Under Sarah’s leadership, Nest Realty Fredericksburg has become known for its integrity, collaboration, and genuine care for clients — a reflection of her belief that success in real estate is measured by relationships built and communities strengthened, not just transactions closed. The community has recognized Nest Realty Fredericksburg with multiple Best of the Burg awards for Best Real Estate Firm and Best Realtor, as well as Family Favorite honors from Fredericksburg Parent & Family Magazine. 

Today, Sarah continues to live in Fredericksburg City in a multi-generational house with her husband, two children, and her parents.
