As the Owner and Broker of Nest Realty Fredericksburg, Sarah Stelmok built Nest around one simple philosophy: real estate is about people, not numbers. Her passion for creating a community-based brokerage comes from years of serving Fredericksburg’s families, schools, and neighborhoods. Under Sarah’s leadership, Nest Realty Fredericksburg has become known for its integrity, collaboration, and genuine care for clients — a reflection of her belief that success in real estate is measured by relationships built and communities strengthened, not transactions closed. A respected REALTOR® and real estate educator, Sarah trains real estate licensees locally, across the state, and country, focusing on professionalism, ethics, and client advocacy. Her leadership and integrity have been recognized by the local real estate association with the FAAR REALTOR® Code of Ethics Award, Manager of the Year Award, Melanie Thompson Award, Educator of the Year Award, and the Good Neighbor Award. 

Originally from North Carolina, Sarah is a proud graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.A. in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She also attended West Virginia University for graduate studies in Special Education with concentrations in Autism and Behavior. Sarah Stelmok made Fredericksburg City her home more than 20 years ago. She quickly fell in love with the area’s rich history, small-town charm, and the people she now calls neighbors. After a career in special education in NC, Sarah transitioned into real estate when she made the move to Virginia — a move that allowed her to continue doing what she loves most: helping people reach life-changing goals through knowledge, trust, and hard work. Sarah is known for her work with area schools, including volunteering over 1000 hrs, donating over 4000 books to area students, and recognizing amazing teachers and paraprofessionals. She is also an advocate for special education students and has served as a resource to local families needing assistance with their special education journey.
